Launched in 2010, ReMark began life as a benchmarking survey undertaken by Remit Consulting into the performance of the UK's property management sector. The ReMark study was initially undertaken every two years and focused on the fundamental function of property and asset management - how much rent is collected on time for commercial property investments and portfolios? 

The Covid-19 pandemic changed everything and, since March 2020, Remit Consulting has worked in conjunction with the British Property Federation, the RICS, Revo, the Property Advisors Forum, and other members of the Property Industry Alliance, to analyse the collection of rent and service charge payments by the country's largest property management firms.

The research is used by landlords, investors, property managers, asset managers and the British Government to assess the impact of the changing market on the property and investment sectors.
